Galkangu Bendigo GovHub

About the project

Galkangu Bendigo GovHub brings multiple government services together within a contemporary civic workplace. Designed by Lyons Architects and delivered by ICON Group and Fairbrother Construction, the project features extensive use of locally sourced mass timber.

Design Intent

The facade needed to complement the warmth and natural character of the exposed mass timber structure while creating a refined, contemporary identity for the civic building.

Outcome

Fairview supplied 1,969m² of Vitradual solid aluminium panels in Cultured Grey Brown, Satin Brown Metallic, Champagne Metallic and Bronze Metallic.

The metallic palette complements the warmth and texture of the timber, while Vitradual provides a durable, low-maintenance facade solution suited to a major government facility.
