Fairview acquires STRYUM, the non-combustible aluminium cladding system

Fairview Architectural are pleased to announce today that they have acquired the Stryum business, an intelligent non-combustible aluminium cladding system, from Vitekk Industries. The product features a range of high quality plate aluminium façade panels, aimed at providing reliability and sustainability, that will compliment Fairview's existing catalogue of cladding solutions that includes the high density fibre cement, natural stone, terracotta tile and the leading deemed non-combustible aluminium composite panel, Vitracore G2.

Specifically designed and developed by experienced commercial façade professionals, Stryum aluminium facade plates was launched into the Australian market in 2014 and has become popular with architects due to its versatility, stylish appearance and non-combustibility. It has been used on some iconic projects including the National Archives of Australia Preservation Facility and more recently on the new Perth OPTUS Stadium where a staggering 16,000m2 of Stryum was installed in 15 customised profiles.

In addition to acquiring the Australian-made product, former Vitekk Industries Director, Michael O'Grady, will be joining Fairview as National Sales Manager. Michael brings with him a wealth of experience of the Australian construction industry with a particular emphasis on developing façade products that meet the specific needs of architects.

Commenting on the acquisition and new appointment, Fairview CEO, Andrew Gillies said: "Stryum is a great addition to our product range.
