What You Should Know About Vitracore G2

In the current state of our industry, identifying a safe cladding product is paramount. We'd like to reintroduce you to Vitracore G2 - the ideal facade product for all type A, B, and C buildings, from residential developments to large scale government infrastructure projects, where non-combustible materials are required.

Vitracore G2 is a bonded aluminium panel that is 'deemed non-combustible' under the Building Code of Australia (BCA) under Clause C1.9e and is fully tested as required to AS1530.1 and AS1530.3. The bonded aluminium panels can be installed like any other aluminium composite panel (ACP) yet are the safer option due to not containing the combustible polyethylene.

The lightweight nature of the panels aid in installation procedure and efficacy, each panel has an overall thickness of 4mm and a weight of 4.6kg/m2, compared to the average weight of a solid aluminium panel which is 9kg/m2. This makes Vitracore G2 panels easier and faster to install, especially useful on large infrastructure projects, reducing overall construction cost.
