Mio Googong

MIO Googong is a residential development comprising 116 two, three and four-bedroom townhouses. Designed as a village-style community, the precinct brings together varied housing forms, landscaped spaces and shared amenities.

Design Intent

MIO was designed to create a cohesive neighbourhood while giving individual townhouses their own identity. Varied roof forms, materials and detailing break up the streetscape, while pedestrian connections and landscaping link the homes with their surroundings.

Outcome

Fairview supplied 1,563m² of Genesis Rustik through-coloured fibre cement cladding.

Its natural texture adds warmth and material variation across the precinct. A distinctive characteristic of Genesis Rustik is its ability to develop a natural patina, with subtle tonal variations emerging as the material is exposed to the elements.
