2016 was a landmark year for Fairview with our Vitracore G2 product becoming Australia’s no.1 deemed non-combustible aluminium composite panel and the launch of a number of new cladding products to the construction industry including: VitraArt and Vitrastone. To capitalise on this success, we have recently hired, James Newman, as a façade consultant within our Sydney Sales Team.
James brings with him a wealth of sales experience from his previous roles including most recently from BOC South Pacific where he was Team Manager SME Sales. His position involved managing Relationship Managers and Sales Support Specialists and handling a portfolio of national group buying accounts worth $15 million. He was also responsible for managing the sales performance and activity output of Relationship Managers; reviewing and marketing of targeted offers to buying groups; recontracting and re-negotiation contracts with buying groups and tracking and reporting of daily activities and sales performance.
At Fairview, James will be responsible for managing the sales process for our new and existing clients with the Sydney sales team as well as facilitating relationships with key decision makers and developing and implementing strategies to grow sales. He will also be the key account manager for our popular Equitone product, a fibre cement exterior panels that Fairview has been exclusively distributing within NSW since 2011.
